In only his second full season in the major leagues, Albert has developed into the American League’s most dangerous run producer. Tremendous skyrocket power from left field to the plate, Belle can hit the ball out of the park anywhere. But he puts the bat on mistake pitches, too. Belle can make a pitcher pay for mistakes by sending the ball high and deep into the seats. A very competitive, aggressive ballplayer, Albert muscles game balls into the stands with the Indians club. In ’92 he tied for fourth in the AL in both home run categories two months before season’s end.
