ARLINGTON – Just when you thought Albert Belle was ready to disappear from the ranks of the game’s best power hitters, here he comes with a July that was unlike any other. His home run in a 10-2 White Sox victory over the Rangers gave him 16 for the month, the most ever hit during a July. For Belle, it sent a message that he was still a fearsome hitter after posting his lowest homer total in six years in ’97 and hitting just 17 up until July ’98.
